Notes for users upgrading from Version 1.6 (May 2003) or earlier

If you are running V1.6 (or earlier) of LetSys do not install V3 or later without first upgrading to Version 2.

You can check which version you are running by clicking Help and then About from the main menu of the Status Window.

If you have not upgraded your 5 year old version of LetSys, then V3 of LetSys cannot be installed successfully without first upgrading to V2.6 as described in detail below.

Follow these instructions:

  1. Download LetSys V2.6, (September 2007) from the link below
  2. Make sure that LetSys (and preferably other applications) are not running.
  3. Install this version by running (double clicking) the downloaded file.
  4. Check that everything is working and your data is fine. You can contact us if there are problems.
  5. If all is OK, you can now download the latest version from this download page.

Click here to download LetSys 2.6.

Once downloaded, then ensure LetSys is not running. Then run this file (you can do this by double clicking in My Computer or Windows Explorer). Then follow the instructions - installation is easy.   The file has been fully virus checked.

(This file is 1.5 Megabytes in size.  It will take just a few seconds to download on a broadband link, or about 5 minutes on a dial up line.)
